The findings of any study are only as good as the data on which they're based. This is why at Attain Insight, we adopt standards which not only reflect the M.R.Q.S.A.requirements, we exceed them in a number of areas, by including additional checks and tests.

For each market segment, individual Attain Insight reports will be published, as well as graphics/charts. At each stage of the programme, a series of seperate checks are made to ensure the integrity of the final tabulations and presentation.

Initially we check the data-source: whether the data has been supplied by clients, drawn from a panel, or obtained from some other source. This ensures that the final sample reflects the target market and does not contain inherent biases.

Through the careful control of log-ins, and by checking the computer details of each respondent, we can ensure that multiple responses are not received from the same individual.
By controlling responses from different (pre-defined) groups we can ensure that the final sample accurately reflects client needs.

Those questionnaires where respondents have not answered or have not answered seriously, are immediately discarded.

Logic checks are made before analysis to ensure that the data is valid, consistent and follows the required routings.

Unusual patterns of response can be identified (although this in itself is not neccessarily a reason for concern).
